I write about what happens when artificial intelligence meets real work. Not what AI will be able to do in five years, and not what was announced on a stage. What seems useful in real work, what fails in practice, and what I am still unsure about.

My name is Martynas Kairys. I run a technology company in Lithuania, I speak at conferences about AI at work, and I like building small personal tools to understand AI better. I am not an engineer, so I write from the side most people are standing on: someone with a job and a limited amount of time.

Why I write: there is a lot of talk about AI and very little shown. Numbers with no denominator, demos with no failures, advice with no date. I try to do the opposite here. Every experiment carries a date, a model, how long it took, and the part that did not work.
